**Description**
SAIC is seeking an **Outreach & Engagement Specialist** to support the Principal Director, Quantum within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)) Critical Technology Office (CTO) to support developing and maintaining work products that enable management decision making, strategy development, initiative definition, action tracking and monitoring, meeting and workshop planning and execution.
**The position is hybrid remote. When onsite work will be in Arlington, VA.**
**Job Duties Include:**
+ Planning and coordinating academic engagement efforts in collaboration with the Director, Academic Outreach.
+ Planning and executing strategic outreach events.
+ Developing compelling technical content for diverse audiences.
+ Analyzing technical data to identify trends and insights.
+ Conducting thorough research to inform strategic decision-making.
+ Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
+ Develop executive level status and summary briefings.
+ Develop planning artifacts including but not limited to statements of work, charters, schedules, and Gantt charts.
+ Develop weekly reports on significant activities, report on the effectiveness of events and processes.
+ Organize and facilitate internal and external communications on a wide array of subjects including internal and external tasks, program reviews, meetings, congressional events, invitations, speaking events, and resources.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Active TS/SCI clearance.
+ US citizenship.
+ A Bachelor’s degree with ten (10) years of relevant experience.
+ Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information.
+ Proven organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) for data presentation and reporting.
+ Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills to foster collaboration.
+ Proficiency in research methodologies and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise summaries.
+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on guidance and established project timelines, proactively identifying and resolving potential changes.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Master’s degree.
+ Strong knowledge of OSD-level organizational structure and understanding of the National Defense Strategy and DoD Modernization areas.
+ Senior Service College Graduate.
