Sodexo is hiring a full‑time Registered Dietitian to join the Weight Wellness team at Mount Sinai Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital, part of the Sinai Health System in Chicago, IL. This role offers the chance to collaborate with accredited Diabetes and Endocrinology Centers where exceptional patient care drives everything we do. The dietitian will divide the week between both hospitals. Weight wellness experience is preferred, with some occasional cross coverage in the Diabetes Clinic.

 

New graduates and experienced dietitians are encouraged to apply. 

 

Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays

Reimbursement for AND dues, CDR renewal fees, and state licensure fees

What You'll Do Work with a diverse population of individuals with obesity, Type I, Type II, and Gestational DiabetesOccasionally provide MNT for outpatient diabetesEmpower clients to achieve life-changing goals who are currently experiencing obesityProvide individualized education to clients through evidence-based nutrition care in the specialized area of weight wellnessCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to recommend, implement, and monitor nutrition interventions Participate in quality improvement projects and regulatory compliance within the department What We Offer

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
