Position Summary: Deaconess Kentucky Specialty Clinic is seeking a highly motivated Outpatient Psychiatrist to help grow outpatient behavioral health services in Hopkinsville, KY. This role offers strong clinical and administrative support in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Compensation & Benefits: + Year 1 guaranteed base salary: $350,000 + Sign-on bonus: $75,000 + Additional earning potential: Psychiatrists typically earn $400,000–$500,000+ based on productivity + Comprehensive benefits package + Relocation assistance + CME allowance Practice Setting: This outpatient role focuses on psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing treatment in a team-based setting that includes: + Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) + Licensed therapists providing individual outpatient services Key Responsibilities: + Perform psychiatric assessments and diagnose mental health conditions + Develop and manage individualized treatment plans + Provide medication management and follow-up care + Collaborate with PMHNPs, therapists, and nursing staff + Supervise PMHNPs as needed + Provide co-signatures for therapists + Maintain accurate EMR documentation + Participate in case conferences and quality initiatives + Follow ethical, legal, and regulatory standards Call Responsibilities: Jennie Stuart Medical Center operates a 12-bed adult inpatient behavioral health unit. + Weeknight call: approx. once every 2 weeks (5:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.) + Weekend call: approx. 1 in 6 weekends + Duties include intake triage, admission orders, and inpatient rounding on weekends Qualifications: + Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (MD or DO) + Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure + Outpatient psychiatry experience preferred + Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join Deaconess: Join a growing behavioral health program with strong leadership support and a collaborative care model.
