Outlet Sales and Event Coordinator - Signia by Hilton at La Cantera Resort & Spa

The Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa—set atop the scenic rolling hills and majestic live oaks of the Hill Country—offers a tranquil yet sophisticated retreat with 140,000 sq. ft. of elegant event space, a luxury spa, multiple outdoor pools, a dedicated kid’s camp, and an 18-hole championship golf course. The resort features four restaurants and five bars, providing everything from casual dining to gourmet experiences. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from San Antonio International Airport, we’re close to premier shopping, dining, and local attractions such as Six Flags San Antonio.

We are excited to announce that we are seeking an Outlet Sales and Event Coordinator to join our team that will handle the selling and serving for group events for 5 of our outlets! 

What will I be Doing? 

As an Outlet Sales & Event Coordinator you would be responsible for representing the hotels services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Respond to inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking food and beverage services in the OutletsInitiate new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clientsHost and entertain clients and maintain client accountsConduct property site visits and answer questionsDetermine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business for the hotel(s).Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue goalsPartner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts

What are we looking for?

1+ years of guest facing customer service 

6 months restaurant experience 

Flexible scheduling based on business demands and groups 

Able to lift, push, pull up to 20 LBS

 

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Sales background 

Hotel industry background 

POS System experience 

Knowledge of Delphi.fdc
