We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping/Logistics Technician to join our fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for working with a team of technicians and engineers to organize domestic satellite shipments, coordinating outbound shipments, and ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency at Redmond with the requirement to backup the Kirkland operations as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, robust communication skills, and a keen eye for process improvement to drive our team's success in meeting service level agreements and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
Key job responsibilities
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and service level agreements
- Communicate important information to transportation, Launch, engineering, planners, procurement, and other related departments to resolve problems
- Accurately label Dangerous Goods for domestic and international shipments
- Maintain quality control and accuracy in the satellite shipping operations
- Oversee and coordinate outbound processes
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper equipment usage
- Monitor and prioritize urgent requests and high-priority tasks
- Collaborate with cross-competent teams on process improvements
- Ensure proper metrics tracking and record-keeping
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain operational efficiency
