**Job Description**
The Outbound Checker is responsible for verifying the accuracy and quality of outbound shipments in a warehouse setting. This role involves inspecting orders, ensuring proper documentation, operating warehouse systems and equipment, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**

**Work Environment**
The company specializes in temperature-controlled warehousing, with much of the work taking place in refrigerated or freezer areas. Associates must be comfortable working in cold temperatures for extended periods, often wearing insulated gear. The role is based in a warehouse or distribution center, involving physical movement, inspections of pallets or containers, and interaction with inventory systems. It may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Quality checks need to be performed quickly and accurately to meet shipping deadlines and maintain product integrity. The environment can be fast-paced, especially during peak shipping periods. While collaboration with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams is common, many tasks are performed independently with a high level of responsibility. The work is guided by strict protocols and documentation requirements, especially for food safety and compliance with industry standards.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Newark, New Jersey.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
