U.S. Got People is currently pending award of a federal contract and seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Otolaryngology Physician to provide high-quality care at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System (OKC VAHCS). Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)Licensure:Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of ColumbiaBoard Certification:Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of OtolaryngologyDEA License: RequiredCore Responsibilities
Diagnosis & Treatment: Evaluate and manage diseases, disorders, and injuries of the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures.Surgical Procedures: Perform reconstructive, cosmetic, and functional surgeries involving the ears, nose, throat, mouth, neck, and face.Medical Management: Prescribe and manage treatments for allergies, infections, chronic conditions, and other ENT-related disorders.Specialized Care: Provide expertise in subspecialties including audiology (hearing and balance), sleep disorders (e.g., sleep apnea), and voice disorders.Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic studies such as blood work, sleep studies, and swallow studies.Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and oncologists to deliver coordinated care.Patient Education: Counsel patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care to enhance quality of life.Join us in making a difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
