We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who values consistency, interdisciplinary collaboration, and developmentally appropriate, family-centered care. What You’ll DoPerform comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Support residents with ADLs, fine motor skills, sensory processing, positioning, and functional mobility
Deliver developmentally appropriate, goal-driven interventions in individual and group settings
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams on care planning, progress monitoring, and transitions

ResponsibilitiesOT - Occupational Therapist:
Initiates skilled occupational therapy treatments in accordance with physician’s orders; maintains required contact with physician.
Maintains written evaluations, progress notes, MDS records and discharge summaries for individuals in occupational therapy program.
Confers with other health care staff regarding special needs of indviduals to enhance rehabilitation or maintenance of function.
Provides input for Care Planning meetings and attends during absences of the Director of Occupational Therapy.
Maintains statistical records of indviduals’ treatments.
Assists with in-service training programs upon request.
Records and updates individual’s care plan.
Submits requisition for supplies needed in the treatment of individuals to Director of Occupational Therapy.Assumes all duties of the Director of Occupational Therapy, if applicable, during absences including supervision of COTA’s and Occupational Therapy Aides. Assumes responsibility for all necessary documentation. QualificationsOT - Occupational Therapist:
Graduation from an approved school of occupational therapy required.
State license to practice occupational therapy required.
Two years’ experience in occupational therapy preferred.
Interest in occupational therapy treatment programs for the geriatric and subacute populations utilizing a team approach.
Ability to direct others necessary.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.
Current, valid CPR/BLS credentialSense of responsibility and ability to work well with residents, families, and other staff members required.
Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.
Ability to work with geriatric and chronically ill residents, as well as other professionals in a friendly and helpful manner necessary.
Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
