As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading shipments to and from trailers and containers. You will also stack and store merchandise in designated areas, transport products as directed, and prepare them accurately for shipment. Operating equipment safely and complying with OSHA and MSDS standards are crucial aspects of the role. Additionally, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment and participating in training sessions are essential duties.
ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload shipments safely to and from trailers and containers.Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas.Transport product to and from designated areas as directed.Accurately pull and prepare product for shipment as scheduled.Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.Inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklifts or other equipment daily.Maintain clean, orderly warehouse and loading areas.Participate in training and learning sessions to enhance knowledge of warehouse functions and processes.
Essential SkillsProficiency in operating a forklift and other material handling equipment.Experience with inventory management and order picking.Ability to use RF scanners.Two to five years of recent work experience.Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).Self-starter with excellent customer service skills.Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.

Work Environment
This hourly position may require working more than eight hours a day or forty hours a week. The role involves frequent exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles, with a moderate noise level.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
