**Job Title: Order Picker** Job Description As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments to and from trailers and/or containers safely. You will efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas and transport products to and from designated areas as directed. Additionally, you will pull and prepare products for shipment accurately as scheduled. Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods is essential. Compliance with OSHA and MSDS Standards is required. You will also inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment daily. Maintaining a clean, orderly warehouse and loading areas is part of your duties, as well as participating in training and learning sessions to increase your knowledge of functions and processes within the warehouse. Essential Skills + Experience with forklifts, inventory, material handling, picking, and general labor. + Proficiency in using an RF scanner, sit down forklift, cherry picker, and reach lift. + Comfortable with heights (20ft - 25ft). + Experience in order picking and shipping and receiving. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Two to five years of recent work experience. + Excellent communication skills (must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently). + Self-starter with excellent customer service skills. + Ability to perform basic mathematical equations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). + Detail-oriented and highly organized. Work Environment This position is hourly and may include hours exceeding eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week. The work environment is primarily in a warehouse setting, frequently exposing employees to moving vehicles. The noise level is typically moderate. Why Work Here?
