Order Management Specialist
Qualifications: + Minimum 2 years of experience in an order management role within the manufacturing industry. + Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Minimum 2 years of ERP experience. + High School Diploma or GED. + Demonstrated strong work history, with a track record of holding a job or career for more than 3 years. Work Environment The position offers an 8-9 hour shift from 7-3:30 pm or 8-4:30 pm with flexible hours. Job Description The Order Management Specialist plays a vital role in the customer service process by efficiently processing incoming orders from customers. The role requires clear communication of order information, such as order status, expedite requests, and order details, to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities + Manage customer portals and process customer orders daily. + Maintain the purchase order inbox and create purchase order acknowledgments. + Generate reports for job tracking and provide sales support for projections and actuals. + Respond promptly to customer service inquiries about order status via fax, telephone, or email. + Create sales orders based on incoming MC purchase orders and process MC jobs for Engineering. + Assess and forward delivery requests, such as expedites, and provide weekly status reports to customers. + Monitor inventory levels for customers with stocking programs and maintain customer websites weekly. + Assess and forward CTO order information as necessary. + Manage pull-in data and conduct contract reviews of customer P.O.s. + Review pick lists to manage overrun stock and assess excess inventory for customer purchase. + Attend production and engineering meetings to relay pertinent information and questions to customers. + Collaborate with scheduling to monitor job schedules and notify customers of delays. + Ensure data accuracy in the ERP system and control documents per federal regulations. + Provide administrative and sales support to the Director of Technical Operations. + Facilitate strong communication and feedback to sales staff, management, and customers. + Work closely with the quoting department to process and file quotes in customer folders. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41.25 - $54.45/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
