Position Summary\nThe Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary connection between customers and Bay Advanced Technologies. This role is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, responding to inquiries, and supporting sales activities with minimal supervision. Success in this position requires effective use of company software systems (P21 and M2M) and collaboration with Field Sales Representatives on customer needs, joint visits, contract pricing, and inventory management.\n\nGeneral Purpose\nTo act as the customer‑facing liaison for order processing, sales support, and service inquiries while ensuring an efficient, high‑quality customer experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProcess customer orders quickly and accurately.\nSend order confirmations to customers.\nGenerate and process customer quotes.\nCommunicate with vendors to obtain pricing and delivery information.\nCheck pricing and stock levels as requested by customers.\nCollaborate with Outside Sales to review and support quote activity.\nSend customer quotes and direct‑ship purchase orders to vendors.\nProvide Outside Sales with price and stock information.\nAnswer incoming sales department phone calls and respond to voicemail messages.\nExpedite customer orders when needed.\nProvide customers with tracking information for open orders.\nAssist customers by specifying product solutions based on their descriptions.\nPrint pick tickets for urgent or “hot” orders.\nRun pricing for BES items.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
