Job Title: Order Entry Specialist

Job Description

The Order Entry Specialist plays a crucial role in processing orders, solving problems, and responding to inquiries about order status. This position involves supporting high-spend customers with large volume orders and managing salesforce cases and credits. The specialist will ensure accurate entry and management of customer orders, resolve inquiries, and maintain a seamless order lifecycle. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently enter customer orders into the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX), seeking clarification from customers, sales, finance, and other departments when necessary.Manage the complete order cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction from order entry through delivery and resolution of issues.Process cases, inquiries, credits, and complaints from Salesforce queues.Create and document complaints in Salesforce, determine root causes, and process Credit/Rebill or Credit/Reship RMAs as required.Provide non-technical product and pricing information.

Essential Skills

2–3 years of order management experienceExperience with Salesforce (must-have)Experience working with an ERP systemStrong accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work in a high-volume, structured environmentProficiency in Excel

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work model with three days a week in the office of the candidate's choice and two days remote. The role requires being fully onsite during a six-week training period. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There is potential for hire for the right candidate and the possibility of an extended contract.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
