Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations.Assist in maximizing the efficiency of the customer order process.Complete assigned tasks to the best of ability within the specified time.Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently into the company's computerized order processing system.Maintain an in-depth awareness of different branch operations and their interrelations.Cooperate seamlessly with showroom, warehouse, and slab sales personnel.Ensure all commitments made to customers and coworkers are reasonable and achievable.Work collaboratively within a team environment.Stay informed about competitors and their products.Keep updated on new products, discontinued products, and products with supply issues.Engage in problem-solving by actively listening to clients and coworkers.Balance ongoing projects with immediate demands of the order desk.What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who’s not just capable — but confident, curious, and committed to excellence. Ideal candidates will have:
2+ years of experience in order entry and email-based customer serviceStrong computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeA knack for numbers — able to calculate discounts, interest, and basic algebraExcellent time management and multitasking abilitiesA collaborative spirit and a proactive mindsetBonus Points for:
Experience with Profit21 or similar internal systems (training provided)Bilingual in SpanishExperience in freight, logistics, or upscale retailFamiliarity with tile, design, or interior finishesWork Environment
You’ll work onsite behind our showroom, alongside a supportive team of up to five order desk clerks. Hours are 7:25 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks. Expect to work 1–2 Saturdays/month (4–5 hours), with flexibility to take two weekdays off when you do.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
