Job Description
The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for entering customer orders into databases and ensuring seamless communication with clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, pays attention to detail, and has strong communication skills. This role requires collaboration with other departments and supervisors, and involves physical activities such as lifting boxes of files, stooping, bending, and reaching to file and retrieve data.
Responsibilities
Enter customer orders into databases accurately and efficiently.Communicate effectively with customers to ensure order accuracy and satisfaction.Collaborate with other departments to coordinate order processing activities.Manage large volumes of paperwork and maintain organized filing systems.Perform physical tasks such as lifting, stooping, and reaching as needed.Essential Skills
Proficiency in data entry and order processing.Experience with 10-key calculators.2+ years of experience in dispatch and corporate customer service.Proficiency in spreadsheets, particularly Excel or Google Sheets.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the food and beverage distribution industry is a plus.Aptitude for working with numbers and conducting audits.Work Environment
The role is based in an office environment, operating from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The office is currently situated in a trailer at the distribution center, with plans for a new office underway. Some Saturday work may be available. The workspace is compact, fostering a close-knit and cohesive team atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manor, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
