Job Description
A client of Insight Global’s in the Broomfield area is looking to hire a Senior Oracle Integration Engineer to join their team. The Senior Oracle Integration Engineer designs, builds, and supports enterprise-grade integrations across retail e-commerce, supply chain, and store operations using Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This role develops and maintains integrations leveraging APIs, events/streams, file-based patterns, and technologies such as IBM JMS, Kafka/OCI Streaming, SAP IDocs, REST, File, and AS2. Day to day, the engineer monitors and optimizes integration performance, troubleshoots issues across distributed systems, and maintains operational documentation, runbooks, and observability tooling. They manage OCI components including API Gateway, compute instances, and Linux-based connectivity agents while ensuring secure connectivity across cloud, on premise, and partner systems. The role also collaborates closely with product, application, and architecture teams, contributing to agile delivery using Jira and managing version control, branching, and CI/CD workflows in GitHub.
$100/hr to $110/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of integration engineering experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on development in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Strong proficiency with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including API Gateway, Compute, Streams, networking fundamentals, and secure connectivity patterns.
• Experience with enterprise messaging and event platforms such as IBM JMS and Kafka/OCI Streams.
• Deep understanding of SAP IDoc inbound/outbound integration patterns, REST APIs, OAuth/JWT authentication, and file-based integrations (SFTP, transformations, validations). transaction processing is happening in real time
• Proficiency with AS2 integrations, including certificate management and partner agreement setup.
• Experience supporting Linux-based OIC connectivity agents and performing Linux compute operations (monitoring, logging, troubleshooting).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for source control and pull requests, and familiarity with Jira for Agile delivery. • Experience in retail or supply chain environments, especially with Aptos POS, Manhattan WMS, Sterling OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), or SAP ECC.
• Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP), including schema management, connectivity optimization, SQL tuning, and wallet-based connectivity.
• Experience building or supporting integration-focused CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Understanding of event driven architecture, canonical data models, and modern integration best practices.
• Oracle OIC/OCI certifications (preferred but not required).
