YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Applications Developer to join our team. In this role, you will enhance and maintain our custom Oracle Enterprise Database ecosystem, focusing on PL/SQL development, Oracle Forms, ASP, WebLogic, Shell Scripts, Linux Cron, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, high-quality solutionsSupport and optimize legacy software applications to improve performance and functionalityModernize legacy applications to align with current technologiesPresent technical concepts and solutions to team members and technical leadersEvaluate alternatives and create detailed technical programming specificationsFollow a structured development life cycle for new projects and enhancementsCollaborate with internal teams to deliver successful solutionsTest, debug, and troubleshoot software issuesCommunicate effectively and meet project timelinesStay current on emerging trends and best practices in development

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

Experience with Oracle Database requiredExperience with PL/SQLExperience with Oracle Forms; WebLogic is a plusExperience with ASP or comparable web application technologyKnowledge of Linux task scheduling using Cron and Shell ScriptsKnowledge of Azure DevOps or comparable development management technologyUnderstanding of Agile methodologiesExperience in a large manufacturing environment, automotive preferredAbility to work onsite in Troy, MIMust be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
