Temp-to-Hire position$15.00 to $18.00 /hourFull Time and Part Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 09:00am to 05:00pm)Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on prescriptions.Ensure proper fit of eyeglasses by performing measurements, adjustments, and minor repairs as needed.Interpret optical prescriptions accurately and provide patients with clear guidance on lens types, frame options, and proper eyewear care.Educate patients on available products, including lens coatings, materials, and contact lens options.Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions, concerns, and follow up needs professionally.Handle administrative tasks such as managing inventory, processing insurance claims, answering phone calls, and scheduling patient appointmentsOptician/Customer Service Qualifications:
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.Must have excellent phone skills.Must be able to work with a sense of urgency, it’s a fast-paced office environment.Must be willing to learn the trade of eyeglass fitting and repairs.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
