We are seeking an Optical Test Technician to join our team. The role involves aligning, calibrating, and configuring spectrometer-based systems, detectors, software, and accessories. The successful candidate will troubleshoot printed circuit boards (PCB) and use testing equipment to ensure optimal performance. All data must be accurately entered into SAP.
Responsibilities
+ Align, calibrate, and configure spectrometer-based systems, detectors, software, and accessories.
+ Troubleshoot printed circuit boards (PCB).
+ Utilize testing equipment efficiently.
+ Enter all relevant data into SAP accurately.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with test equipment and circuit boards.
+ Strong background in engineering, oscilloscopes, assembly, electronics, mechanical, and electrical fields.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or Associate's degree in physics or computer science, OR 3+ years of related experience.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience with PCB.

The work environment includes a team of approximately 200 people in New Jersey, with 10 other optical test technicians. This is a Contract position based out of Piscataway, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
