Description

Aerotek is hiring for geo-technical contractor. They design and install specialty foundation elements. They do specialty ground improvement techniques. Projects include are generally commercial, civil, and industrial. They take pride in their earth retention molds and sculpting that hold back slopes. Operators will be using front end loaders, dozers, backhoes to dig, trench, move materials onsite, move lumber, pile rock, compact. Some will be using a Tie back drill (screw/drill to the wall, soil nail is another name for it) , concrete pump or micropile.

2+ years of experience on heavy equipment

\t\t○ Candidates will be in and out of equipment (50%), doing labor (50%)

\t\t○ Front end, skid, telehandler, drills, water truck, mini dozer (D3)

\t\t○ Unloading beams, cutting beams, unloading trucks, physical work, vibrator operator, dumping rocks

\t\t○ Some projects are very labor intensive, so the operators have to be flexible with that

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2+ year of experience operating equipment on civil, geotechnical, earthwork or commercial projects.

Comfortable working outdoors in the elements, be able to lift 75 lb, and being comfortable and able to do the travel. 10% of work is night-work. Some experience with the forklift to skidsteer is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
