**Job Title:** **Medical Device Production Technician**
**Location:** Santa Clara, CA
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Assemble high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
+ Operate equipment and machinery following documented procedures.
+ Perform tasks such as:
+ Electronic assembly
+ Casting/coating
+ Mechanical assembly
+ Packaging
+ Clean tools and equipment per procedures.
+ Dispose of hazardous waste in designated areas.
**Detailed Duties**
+ Assemble medical devices and components in a controlled cleanroom environment (depending on area).
+ Use various tools and equipment:
+ Microscopes
+ Hand tools
+ Razor blades
+ Syringes
+ Soldering tools
+ Adhesive bonding materials
+ Perform routine tasks based on standardized procedures.
+ Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements.
+ Test units using computerized equipment.
+ Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and tools.
+ Package devices with accuracy and complete documentation.
+ Maintain accurate records for traceability and quality assurance.
+ Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate safety equipment.
+ Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
+ Notify supervisor/lead about supply needs or production issues.
+ Collaborate with supervisor/manager to set and monitor goals and performance metrics.
+ Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Requirements**
+ High school diploma required.
+ Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
+ Ability to read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures (6th grade level).
+ Basic math skills (6th grade level).
+ Effective verbal communication in English.
+ Familiarity with electronic data collection systems and software.
+ Good manual dexterity for handling small components.
