Job Title: Production Line Operator
Job Description
As a Production Line Operator, you will lead the production line, overseeing the loading of raw material, monitoring in-process quality, and ensuring a high-quality finished product alongside laborers. This role involves operating within a highly automated process, where you'll load the production line using a forklift and manage operations via a PLC/HMI touchscreen. You will conduct quality checks using a tape measure and record results in Excel.
Responsibilities
Load the machine with raw material using a forklift.Monitor production flow and quality to ensure a high-quality finished product.Operate production equipment using PLC/HMI touchscreen technology.Perform quality checks using a tape measure and record data in Excel.Manage the line's production run elements Troubleshoot basic issues to set up the PLC and operate the machine.Essential Skills
Experience operating a sit-down forklift with the ability to move large objects.Proficiency in reading a tape measure for quality measurements.Ability to key enter values in Microsoft Excel.Experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment using PLC run programs.Ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hour days outside of breaks.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude for machine setup and operation.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues.Familiarity with using hand and power tools.Steel toe boots are required (boot allowance provided once full-time employed).Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a mild manufacturing setting without air conditioning, but equipped with large fans to maintain comfort. The role requires work alongside a long production line and involves shifts from 5 AM to 3 PM. Expect occasional Saturday work during peak seasons. PPE including steel toes, long pants, gloves, and eye protection is required and provided.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
