Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a reliable Operator to join their growing team. As an Operator, you will be a key member of the production support team, helping maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work history, attention to detail, adaptability, and preferably prior experience in food manufacturing or related environments.
Job Title: Operator
Location: South Bend, IN
Pay Range: $19.00/hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Operate and support packaging line activities, including product handling, labeling, weighing, sealing, and palletizing.
Assist with product changeovers, staging materials, and line clean-up to reduce downtime.
Perform routine sanitation duties such as cleaning equipment, tools, and work areas to meet food safety and quality standards.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and sanitation schedules.
Monitor product quality throughout the process and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
What’s Needed?High school diploma or equivalent required.
Forklift experience required.
Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, or sanitation is preferred.
A strong, reliable work history with consistent attendance is highly valued.
Ability to lift up to 25 kg, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality.
