**Job Title: Operator** **Job Description** The Operator is responsible for producing high-quality products according to batch formulations while adhering to Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements set by company policy. This role involves maintaining accurate records through a computer system, logging inventory usage, completing batch sheets, and following standardized work instructions. Continuous improvement processes are practiced, and equipment monitoring and adjustment are required. Additionally, the Operator will rotate to other workstations as needed and complete necessary paperwork. **Responsibilities** + Produce quality product per batch formulations. + Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements. + Maintain accurate records via computer system. + Log inventory used and fill out batch sheets. + Follow standardized work instructions. + Practice continuous improvement processes. + Monitor and adjust equipment as needed. + Complete required paperwork. + Rotate to other workstations as needed. **Essential Skills** + Machine operation + Blending and mixing of chemicals + Operation of equipment to produce adhesive pellets + General labor + Forklift operation + Packaging + Use of hand tools + High School Diploma or GED **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Prioritizing work schedule + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Experience in a manufacturing environment + Ability to work around moving equipment and use power tools + Experience with Microsoft Office products + Willingness to work overtime as needed **Why Work Here?** Join a full-time position within a growing company with a multinational footprint, offering opportunities for career advancement and development. **Work Environment** The work environment is fast-paced and requires the wearing of a hard hat, steel toes, and safety glasses throughout the facility. Training occurs on the 1st shift for a few weeks, followed by rotating shifts: 1st Shift (7am-3pm), 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm), and 3rd Shift (11pm-7am). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
