**Job Title: Microscope / Cleanroom Operator - $19hr**
**Job Description**
This position involves working extensively with a microscope, responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. The role includes assembly, repair, and testing operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related assemblies. Work is performed under close supervision following specified procedures, with an emphasis on maintaining accurate job documentation and clear communication at all levels.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a microscope for 95% of the work time to perform detailed tasks.
+ Assemble, repair, and test medical devices such as pacemakers and ICDs.
+ Follow standardized procedures and ensure job documentation is accurate.
+ Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions effectively both orally and in writing.
+ Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
+ Adhere to safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices.
+ Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
+ Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and address quality issues.
+ Understand and demonstrate basic Lean Manufacturing principles.
+ Collaborate with supervisors to set and monitor goals and performance metrics.
+ Support divisional initiatives and comply with Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
+ Understand and follow verbal instructions.
+ Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Entry-level candidates are welcome; training on medical device manufacturing will be provided.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a cleanroom environment requiring specific dress codes. Clothing must be non-shedding and free from frayed hems or loose threads. Proper attire, including stockings or socks, is mandatory. The workplace is designed to maintain high cleanliness standards to ensure product quality and safety.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.75/hr.
