**Job Description** The operator plays a crucial role in daily production activities, focusing on operating roll forming equipment to produce metal roof and wall panels. The position involves quality checking products against specifications, performing tooling changeovers, and programming work orders. **Responsibilities** + Operate roll forming equipment to produce metal roof and wall panels. + Quality check produced panels and accessories against specifications to ensure defect-free products. + Perform tooling changeovers and adjust equipment to achieve profile specifications. + Program work orders and report daily production and scrap data. + Operate a forklift to transport raw and finished goods (training provided). + Package finished goods, including operating saw and nail guns to produce crates and skids. + Actively participate in the shared vigilance and hazard recognition safety program. + Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assist in other departments as needed. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience. + Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16. + Minimum of 6 months of prior machine operating experience, with preference for candidates with over 2 years. + Experience with hand tools, production, and machine operation in the manufacturing industry. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hand and power tools such as banding saws, nail guns, roll formers, coil slitters, sheet metal shears, and powered folders. + Ability to read and interpret measurement equipment to 1/16". **Why Work Here?** The company offers competitive raises upon going permanent, generally between $1-$3 per hour.
