**Job Title: Operator** **Job Description** As an Operator in our dynamic production environment, you will be responsible for pre-labeling bags, feeding them into the bagger, and understanding the software of the bagger system. Your role also involves performing light maintenance as needed, ensuring bags are properly sealed, and weighing products to meet standards. You may also work with panning machines, extrusion lines, crunch lines, or packaging, focusing on mixing, batching, panning, and packing. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Responsibilities** + Pre-label bags and feed them into the bagger. + Understand and operate the bagger system software. + Perform light maintenance on machinery when required. + Ensure bags are properly sealed and weigh products to meet standards. + Operate panning machines, extrusion lines, crunch lines, and packaging. + Mix, batch, pan, and pack products. **Essential Skills** + Ability to pack, label, stack, move, assemble, mix, and blend. + Mechanical aptitude. + Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, and machine operating. + Ability to lift 50 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prefer at least 6 months of manufacturing experience. + Food manufacturing experience is advantageous. + Demonstrated drive to advance within the company. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with roots in Italy that offers significant opportunities for career advancement and development. Expect a fast-paced environment with extended periods of standing. Contractors are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats. The facility is climate controlled, but temperatures can reach up to 100 degrees due to heat from machinery and ovens, and the environment may become dusty. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
