**Job Title: Production Operator - Nutritional Department (1st and 3rd Shift)** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated Production Operators for the Nutritional Department. As a Nutritional Yeast Operator, you will ensure that the product is processed and packaged correctly and in a timely manner. This position requires a diverse set of skills and knowledge to maintain high-quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform sanitation on equipment, infrastructure, grounds, and other assigned areas. + Monitor quality assurance controls during the production process. + Conduct product analysis, weight checks, and code data verification. + Record and maintain accurate written and electronic information. + Understand and follow safety, GMP, food safety, and other rules or policies. + Operate equipment safely and efficiently. + Inspect infrastructure and equipment and notify management when maintenance is required. + Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process problems. + Operate a forklift as needed, with training provided if not already certified. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of production/manufacturing experience. + Ability to lift up to 75lbs. + Ability to stand on feet for up to 12 hours. + Strong mechanical aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with production processes. + Problem-solving skills. + Mechanical skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a company where safety is a top priority and employees have the opportunity to grow. The environment is very hot, often exceeding 100 degrees in the production room, and requires the ability to handle heat and stand for long periods. The work schedule offers a rotating shift with every other weekend off. Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise levels. Dress code includes steel-toe boots, lab coat/pants, hair/beard net, and safety goggles. Work hours are either 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am, with a schedule that allows ample time off. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
