Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description

We are seeking candidates to assist with machine operations in our Detroit facility for a Three Rivers production project. This role involves working on the 31XX line, which requires manual lifting of 40lb parts and operating an overhead crane.

ResponsibilitiesLoading and unloading CNC machines or presses.Using hand tools to assemble parts on a production line.Measuring parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances.Adding covers to finished axles before they proceed to the paint line.Essential SkillsPrior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Ability to consistently lift 40 lbs, including lifting axles and other materials overhead.Capability to bend, lift, and twist throughout the shift.Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.Use of steel-toed boots/shoes for safety.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with production and machine operations.Understanding of manufacturing processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is located on a clean, well-lit warehouse/production floor where safety is of utmost importance. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt without logos or vulgar language, and steel-toed boots. The role entails working the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 9 PM - 7 AM, with mandatory overtime currently requiring availability for six days a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
