**HIRING FOR ENTRY-LEVEL MEDICAL ASSEMBLERS!** **1ST SHIFT! 7:00AM - 3:30PM!** **Job Description** Join our team as an Operator I where you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced cleanroom manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for assembling and packaging high-quality medical devices and equipment such as small medical devices and generators. This position requires working daytime hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed. **Responsibilities** + Assemble, repair, and test capital equipment, ensuring high-quality production. + Perform routine assignments according to standardized procedures. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for cell operations. + Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly in both written and oral form. + Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices during all operations. + Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes. + Maintain accurate records to ensure product traceability and address quality issues. + Understand and apply Lean Manufacturing principles. + Collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to set and monitor individual goals and performance metrics. + Support divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems. + Read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions. + Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages. + Prioritize work effectively and make critical decisions with minimal supervision. **Essential Skills** + Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. + Excellent hand dexterity. + Understanding of measurements with rulers and calipers. + Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly. + Great organizational skills. + Willingness to work overtime. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school degree or equivalent is preferred. + Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing. + Experience in an ESD manufacturing environment is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Be part of a team that values longevity and career growth. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the possibility of overtime. The position involves working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment, not a clean room. Proper attire is required, with non-shedding, tightly woven clothing free of loose threads or fibers. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory, with specific guidelines on shoe types and clothing to ensure safety and compliance in the production area. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Little Canada, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
