Our client, a leading organization in warehouse and logistics operations, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join their team. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management, replenishment, and shipping activities. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Operator 1, Warehouse Operations
**Location: Sandy, UT**
**Pay Range:** $19.66
**Shift:** 1st Shift, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., rotating days
Here is what the schedule looks like: Week 1- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Week 2- Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday Week 3- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Week 4- Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform warehouse replenishment roles and inventory functions, including cycle counts and raw material processing
+ Operate inventory management systems and scanners to accurately receive and process raw materials and finished goods
+ Prepare outbound shipments, verify quantities, lot numbers, and part numbers, and ensure proper packaging for shipment
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety, security, and quality standards
+ Participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S, lean initiatives, and shift start-up meetings
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent GED
+ Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics roles
+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems (SAP, Datalan)
+ Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, and maintain certification
+ Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
