About the RoleOperations Technicians help maintain, clean, and monitor mechanical sampling equipment used to process bulk materials. This work requires strong attention to detail, comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions, and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
What You’ll DoClean exterior and interior parts of mechanical sampling systems using air, water, and hand or powered tools.Remove material buildup, debris, and residues from equipment, walkways, platforms, grounds, tools, and vehicles.Observe equipment during both operational and non‑operational periods to monitor condition and performance.Record and evaluate sample ratio data, weights, tonnages, and equipment parameters.Track loading sequences and document findings accurately.Follow lockout/tagout procedures as needed to ensure safe work practices.Work rotational shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.Support additional duties assigned by supervisors to maintain system reliability and site cleanliness.What You BringAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).Comfortable with extended periods of walking, standing, climbing ladders/stairs, and working on uneven surfaces.Strong dependability, time‑management, and task follow‑through.Ability to understand written instructions and complete accurate documentation.Proficient with Word, Excel, email, data entry, and calculator use.Basic math skills and legible handwriting.High level of safety awareness and the ability to follow procedures precisely.Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with hand tools, basic mechanical work, or industrial environments.Understanding of lockout/tagout procedures.Why This Role Stands OutContract‑to‑hire with strong long‑term potential.Once hired full‑time, employees receive:Medical coverage fully paid for the employee.Vision and dental coverage.Paid time off (40 hours in the first year; 80 hours after two years).9 paid holidays.Paid parental leave.Retirement plan with a 5% match.Opportunity to build a stable career in industrial operations.Work with a supportive team focused on equipment reliability and safe work practices.Work EnvironmentFully outdoor environment with exposure to seasonal temperature extremes.Work involves climbing, kneeling, standing, and navigating uneven or weather‑affected terrain.Dirty, dusty conditions requiring proper PPE.Training & ScheduleTraining Period:
