Operations Project Lead- Heavy Transportation

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is currently recruiting for an Operations Project Lead to join the Heavy Transportation division. This role will be based out of Summerville, South Carolina with frequent travel. Expected salary for this exempt level role will be $65,000.00 per year. \n

Overall Purpose\n

The Operations Project Lead is responsible for driving operational projects from concept to successful deployment, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives. This role serves as the central point of coordination for project activities, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and quality. Acting as a first responder to project and facility issues, the Operations Project Lead provides rapid resolution to minimize disruptions while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. With flexibility to support evolving priorities, this position ensures timely job deployment and fosters collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence. Responsibilities\n\nLead projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.\nCoordinate communication among internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain project clarity.\nDevelop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk mitigation.\nDrive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.\nMonitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions to meet quality and delivery targets.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless execution.\nPrepare and present project status reports to leadership, highlighting progress and recommendations.\nEnsure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.\nRespond promptly to urgent project or facility concerns to minimize operational disruptions.\nOther duties as assigned\n\n

Work Experience\n\n\n\nOverall recommendations\n \n\n\n\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in project management, operations, or related roles, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering results.\nTrack record of developing and executing detailed project plans, including performance monitoring and reporting to leadership. \n\n\n\n\n\n

Education Background\n\n\n\nOverall recommendations\n \n\n\n\n\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. \nPMP or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.\n\n\n\n\n\n
