Operations Metrics & Reporting Analyst

**The opportunity**
The Operations Metrics and Reporting Specialist will take the lead on the overall metrics and data management which may include budget and expenses in Operations. The role will be responsible in monitoring each Value Stream's performance against their target SLAs on a regular basis by using database tools and other software that are essential for data analysis and reports generation.
The individual will act as an internal client interface for data gathering requirements and will ensure that the data development would result to valid and accurate output.
The individual will help drive critical business decisions and provide data-driven insights and perspectives to existing processes in Operations by analyzing operations metrics, designing reports, and applying appropriate analytical methods from descriptive to predictive analytics.
The individual will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology, and other business units relevant to the delivery of the initiative.
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards for Operations Metrics both for local and regional requirements.
+ Generate, collate, and provide meaningful analysis and reports used in decision-making and issue them out on a timely manner.
+ Identify gaps in the existing metrics and lead the review and recalibration in terms of logic, calculation, and automation.
+ Perform data analysis using digital competencies tools such as PowerBI and Microsoft Excel while ensuring alignment with data governance model.
+ Preparation of the monthly expense/financial and budget analysis for Operations.
+ Perform other functions as may be assigned.

**What we are looking for**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a numerate discipline e.g. Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar courses
+ At least 5 years of work-related experience gained from an insurance or financial sector, or from digital performance analytics-related fields
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and with sound knowledge of programming in SQL or other programming experience
+ Experience in reporting tools and methodologies is an advantage
+ Familiarity on operations metrics is an advantage
+ Immense attention to detail regarding all aspects of data management
+ Articulate, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Adaptable and is able to interact and build strong relationships with people from a diverse range of background
+ Fast learner with a willing attitude, with strong analytical skills and a passion for data
+ Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet project deliverables and tight deadlines
