The Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting various functions under the guidance of the Executive VP of Operations, ensuring seamless company operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify team strengths and development needs while assisting in the establishment of measurable goals and objectives. The Operations Specialist will analyze current processes, implement improved models, and oversee the progression of new products. Additionally, the role involves monitoring sales orders, managing supplier relations, and maintaining communications with clients.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify individual and team strengths and development needs with regular reporting to the Executive VP.Assist in establishing clear measurable goals and objectives for team results.Analyze and improve current processes and organizational procedures.Assist with the progression of new products from inception to completion.Monitor sales orders and supplier relations to ensure timely processing and shipping.Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and emails for customers and clients.Update and distribute approved price lists.Oversee private label agreements and rebate/special pricing agreements.Assist in planning and organizing the annual sales meeting.Arrange and organize travel schedules and reservations.Organize and maintain records for special projects and communications.Oversee project completion and assignments for international subsidiaries.Assist with the creation and distribution of communications for program updates, product enhancements, direct marketing programs, and sales tools.Track and report business, marketing, and advertising activities of key prospects and industries.Participate in the annual inventory.Perform other duties and projects as assigned.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing work environment.Operations management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational and planning skills.Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Exceptional analytical skills including researching, problem-solving, reporting, and organization.Strong time management skills and business acumen.Ability to handle difficult and confidential matters effectively and professionally.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.Experience in operation management in a manufacturing environment.Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite in an office environment, characterized by moderate noise levels. Vision requirements include reading written documents and frequent use of a computer monitor screen. The worker will be subject to inside environmental conditions, providing protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr.
