**Description**
SAIC is seeking junior **Operations Managers** to join our team supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E). The successful candidates will provide technical management and leadership to efficiently and effectively run daily front office operations for OUSW(R&E) leadership. These positions are ideal for candidates who have experience with Department of War front office operations and are eager to take on a greater leadership role supporting R&E’s exciting mission.
**These positions are full time on site in Arlington, VA.**
_These positions are contingent upon contract award anticipated in late 2025 / early 2026._
**Job Description:**
+ Coordinate and monitor action and task assignments, establishing completion dates, and assist with escalation as needed.
+ Facilitate teamwork among office staff to ensure cross-collaboration, meeting preparation, scheduling, task execution, and follow up.
+ Develop resource plans to accomplish tasks efficiently while managing competing priorities.
+ Recommend and implement modifications to current administrative and operational procedures and policies to improve efficiency for customers.
+ Maintain and develop office Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
+ Implement process changes through mentoring, counseling, and training office staff.
+ Develop executive-level status and summary briefings.
+ Develop and document decision support documents for senior customers.
**Qualifications**
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a management or technical discipline (e.g. Science, Mathematics, or Engineering field).
+ Three (3) years of experience as an Operations Manager is required. Highly preferred experience and skills in project management, operational management, strategy development and planning, and executive decisions support.
**Required Clearance:**
+ Active TS/SCI
+ U.S. Citizenship
**Required Skills:**
+ Expert level skills in management tools including MS Office suite.
+ Ability to execute effectively in DoW staff environments and at the most senior levels of the Department.
+ Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and tasks, and deliver high quality and timely results and work products.
