Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day assembly operations of the company. This role is positioned at the forefront of a fast-paced contract electronic manufacturing environment. It requires effective interaction with customers, including engineering and program management, as well as all levels of company personnel.
ResponsibilitiesPlan daily and weekly assembly schedules and allocate resources in collaboration with other department managers, operations team members, and customers as needed.Engage in manufacturing and process planning, engineering, improvement, and control by identifying required resources, automation, training, and developing special processes as required per customer needs.Ensure delivery schedules are met and uphold stringent quality standards.Oversee planning and budgeting for maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment.Identify and procure special tooling, materials, and supplies.Plan for future resources and processes, including related budgeting.Supervise and support all team members within the operations department, including leading and managing their performance.Collaborate with quotation, business development, and other departments to address special needs, engineering challenges, technical/mechanical issues, and customer interactions.Provide input, metrics, data, and goals regarding manufacturing operations for weekly management meetings and annual planning and budgeting processes.Essential Skills10 years of experience in hands-on operations management and process engineering in a contract electronic manufacturing environment.Thorough knowledge of all aspects and processes involved with complex circuit card board assembly, with emphasis on SMT processes, including evaluating customer documentation, generating internal assembly instructions, machine programming, stencil optimization, reflow profiling, solder paste selection, X-ray analysis, solder quality analysis, and special process requirements related to components and PCB materials.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for process troubleshooting and failure analysis.Team player, motivator, and good communicator.Proficiency in verbal and written communication, documenting and verbally conveying technical matters to customers, operators, inspectors, and management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn new programs such as Circuit Cam.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to provide training to operators as required.Bilingual proficiency in English and Vietnamese is a plus.Experience in Contracts Electronic Manufacturing, PCB fabrication and materials, Soldering (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001), Documentation, Quality (ISO 9001, AS9100), and Assembly manufacturing.Familiarity with ITAR facility requirements.Why Work Here

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
