Operations Manager, LATAM Fintech Products
**About the Role** The Operations Manager role on Uber’s LATAM Financial Services team is a unique opportunity to help expand our financial operations in the region. This is a critical role to increase Consumer engagement (Riders and Eaters) by providing them with access to a range of competitive financial products that make using Uber an even more magical experience. It requires a deep understanding of financial needs and pain points in the region. This role will work on both strategy and implementation, calling for a rare combination of: creative problem solving, detail orientation, data analysis, market research and interpersonal ability to manage internal and external stakeholders. This is a fast growing business and this person will work in the Financial Business Group team, collaborating with the Mobility and Delivery, Strategy & Planning, Business Development, Product and Tech teams. **What you will do:** **Problem solving:** Being able to solve issues that involve people, and processes by using logic, common sense, and data. Identifying the root cause of a problem as opposed to focusing on the symptoms. **Project/Stakeholder management:** Lead big project implementations, working with internal and external stakeholders from different seniority levels and locations. **Strategy:** Based on data, choose which features and projects the team should prioritize, and set a timeline to reach goals quickly. **Be owner:** Take ownership of Uber's financial products growth in LATAM and do everything you can to support and enhance the quality of our services (e.g. product improvements and new features); We expect you to be proactive and resourceful in order to remove road blockers and find creative solutions. **Basic Qualifications** **4+ years of high-performing experience** in operations, business consulting, strategic planning, or related roles, with demonstrated strength in quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making. **Hands-on experience with credit card products**, including exposure to core economics (e.g., interchange, APR, fees), lifecycle management (acquisition, underwriting, servicing), and cross-functional collaboration with product, risk, and operations teams. **Fluent English proficiency**, with the ability to interpret complex information and communicate clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing **Preferred Qualifications** **Experience on managing external partnerships** and/or interfacing with product development. **Spanish proficiency (not necessarily fluent)**, with the ability to communicate effectively in professional and operational contexts. **Familiarity with CRM tools** and incentive or promotional campaigns, including customer engagement and lifecycle management. **Working knowledge of analytical tools** such as Google Sheets, SQL, or similar platforms Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
