Job Title: Operations Coordinator

Location: Eden Prairie, MN - Onsite

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $20-$22 an hour

Position Overview

Beacon Hill's client is seeking an Operations Coordinator to perform operational tasks to support the transportation needs of customers and carriers. This role emphasizes data integrity, quality, and efficiency. The Operations Coordinator will support specific customers, vertical segments, or centralized operations centers by executing various operational duties and ensuring smooth, timely coordination.

This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for permanent hire that is onsite in Eden Prairie, MN.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize technology and established processes to identify issues and collaborate with team members to eliminate obstacles.

Build strong working relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders to support daily needs related to product information, pricing, transportation, and other requirements across multiple accounts

Develop the ability to plan and manage order activities on a regular basis, ensuring all tasks are accurately completed within company operating systems

Gain proficiency in coordinating order-related activities, including shipment tracking, exception management, inventory reconciliation and forecasting, replenishment, invoicing, and resolving claims or credits, as well as supporting pricing activities

Learn to address exception orders by troubleshooting and resolving issues for orders that do not process correctly, working closely with clients, transportation providers, distribution partners, product supply teams, and other third parties to minimize disruptions

Learn to maintain item-level data within company systems, such as pack sizes, pricing details, and product/commodity descriptions

Develop the ability to maintain communication with vendors to help ensure consistent product availability.

Help identify service failures-such as delayed deliveries-and assist in resolving them to reduce impact on customer fulfillment.

Deliver high-quality customer service through proactive communication, professionalism, and timely responses to inquiries from external partners.

Share updates on business operations with the team as needed.

Meet established tactical and operational performance targets (KPIs).

Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned based on team or country-specific needs.

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or GED2+ years customer service or logistics experience

Preferred

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in a call center or similar customer service environmentStrong communication, prioritization, and time management skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in previous rolesCommitment to a diverse and inclusive work environment
