Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. The role requires a keen focus on demand planning, logistics coordination, and sales support activities. ResponsibilitiesCoordinate demand updates from the sales team and review with VP Sales and Director of Finance.Input data into demand planning documents.Maintain and review trade spend portal and provide monthly updates.Coordinate distributor sales reports and calculate monthly commissions for internal and external sales organizations.Organize and maintain sales assets including sell sheets, swag, show materials, and other promotional items.Assist in the onboarding of new accounts and maintain lead follow-up.Coordinate monthly updates to the sales pipeline.Serve as backup for customer service and order entry.Assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations for sales meetings.Review and analyze monthly sales reports to identify trends and voids.Review and reconcile invoices from logistics providers and update store locator information.Manage data and updates on external platforms such as FoodLogiq, 1WorldSync, and IXOne.Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team as needed.Take on special projects and tasks as assigned.Essential SkillsStrong analytical and organizational skills.2+ years of experience in sales operations, administrative support, or a related role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of NetSuite ERP is a plus.Experience with trade platforms and distributor portals is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Initially, this role is 100% on-site, working closely with all departments. The current office resembles a basement, but a move to a beautiful new office is planned for next year. A desk, computer, and parking will be provided. The position offers a standard work schedule from either 8 AM to 4 PM or 7 AM to 3 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berkeley, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.69 - $36.06/hr.
