**Job Summary:**
The Operations Business Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day business operations within an area. This role serves as a liaison to department leadership, ensures compliance with organizational policies, and implements process improvements to enhance performance and service delivery.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and ensure optimal use of resources.
+ Oversee day-to-day office operations, including facilities management, workspace coordination, and infrastructure support, in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders.
+ Coordinate office events, meetings, and employee engagement activities to support a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
+ Manage storage operations and inventory control, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and compliance standards.
+ Lead safety and security operations, including emergency preparedness, incident reporting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal teams, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
+ Develop and deliver onboarding materials and resources for new staff and manage background checks for covered personnel.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to support hardware, software, and communications infrastructure; educate staff on available IT support resources and proper reporting channels.
+ Provide operational advice to department leadership, contributing to long-term planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, non-profit management or another related field (required)
