We are hiring on behalf of our client for an Operations Assistant.
Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented, and customer‑focused professional to support daily office operations within a dynamic and fast‑paced insurance environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career while contributing to efficient workflow, excellent customer service, and overall operational success.
As the Operations Assistant, you will often serve as one of the first points of contact for visitors and callers. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day office functions, supporting both internal teams and external clients through administrative coordination, communication management, and operational support.
Responsibilities:
+ Greet all visitors and provide assistance as needed.
+ Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including FedEx and UPS.
+ Route phone calls to appropriate employees, handling 100-200 calls per day.
+ Schedule and manage meeting room calendars.
+ Order office supplies weekly.
+ Perform mail routing processes, including scanning and document management.
+ Cover calls and mail routing for multiple locations as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong administrative and customer service skills.
+ Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented.
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in administrative, receptionist, or customer service roles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or associate degree preferred.
+ Experience with computers, Microsoft Office, and email management.
+ Interest in career growth within the insurance industry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
