We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory and Asset Management Specialist to ensure efficient tracking and maintenance of our unpowered assets and inventory systems. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting various operational aspects of our business. Reports to: Operations Manager Minimum Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent + Proven experience in inventory and asset management + Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) + Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot common issues + Ability to lift 50+ lbs with or without assistance Preferred Qualifications: + Additional education in inventory management or a related field + Bachelor’s degree ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES + Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills + Effective communication and collaboration abilities + Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working Conditions: + Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. + May require extended periods of standing. + Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions. + This position also operates in a professional office environment which may require sitting for extended periods. + Position requires routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and tablets Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain the WMS/CED.Net Inventory system, keeping it up-to-date and organized, and upgrading systems as needed. Working to maintain an efficient and seamless warehouse and fulfillment operation. + VMI Field: Oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)processes, ensuring proper levels of inventory to meet demand. Performing field VMI operations. + Computer Troubleshooting: Provide basic troubleshooting and setup for computers and related equipment as required. + Purchasing Support: Assist in purchasing activities as directed by the purchasing team, including updating matrices and pricing information.
