**About this role**
**Job Summary**
We are a dynamic, data-driven team at the intersection of finance and technology. We are looking for a highly detail-oriented, self-driven individual to join our Chief Operating Officer team in a dynamic, cross-functional role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on strategic projects, working across multiple business teams and analyzing data – all with the goal of driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate should be eager to grow into ownership of tools, projects, and products.
This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills, critical thinking and a passion for learning. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, operations and engineering teams in a fast-growing segment of asset management.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Support daily and weekly data QA/QC processes using existing systems
+ Collaborate across departments to understand business priorities and project interdependencies
+ Analyze and visualize data to inform decisions and measure ROI
+ Assist in program/project management and tool development
+ Learn and adapt quickly to new technical tools and business domains
**Qualifications**
+ Detail-focused with a knack for seeing how small pieces fit into broader business goals
+ Confident, hardworking, and comfortable navigating an unconstrained role
+ Strong Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI)
+ Familiarity with SQL or other relational databases; Python exposure is a plus
+ Exposure to CRM systems; Salesforce is a plus
+ Experience in QA/QC, project management, or consulting-style environments
+ Proactive learner with the ability to self-teach technical tools and business processes
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
+ Additional QA certifications or training preferred.

For Chicago, IL Only the salary range for this position is USD$95,000.00 - USD$127,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

**Our hybrid work model**
