TD Securities is currently seeking an Operations Analyst, who will act as key team players in the Settlements & Collateral team for our Stock Loan International business. The candidates will be responsible for ensuring timely allocation of International (excluding North America) Securities Finance trades, their settlement, associated cash collateral movements and reconciliation of any exceptions. We are looking for professionals with excellent written and verbal communications skills who are exceptionally organized and detail oriented. The successful candidates will need to exhibit strong academic performance, exceptional interpersonal skills, and superior analytical, and communication skills.
To help ensure our clients continue to receive an outstanding level of service, the Operations Professional must be able to manage multiple simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
The following covers both the trade and collateral elements of the function however these functions may be split out per individual.
Ensuring timely allocation/matching of trades, settlement, and reconciliation of any exceptionsEnsuring timely allocation and payment/settlement of collateral movements and reconciliation of any exceptionsLiaising with counterparties, Agent banks, Treasury and Front office to resolve issues and settle tradesWorking with Front Office to resolve booking issues and amendmentsWorking with Front Office to optimize collateral usage and resolve booking issues and amendmentsPerforming marks to marketResolving any external breaks on the daily contract comparison reportPre-matching trades for future settlementInvestigating outstanding internal and external stock and cash breaks and resolving them in a timely mannerWorking with the New York team to address/hand-over any outstanding issues from the dayWorking with the Front office to streamline the operation flow of the various products that we support.Systems Knowledge
Intermediate to Advanced Excel (the ability to manipulate and summarise financial data)Knowledge of Broadridge systems, including 4SF, Shadow and Gloss would be advantageous.Knowledge of Swift, Equilend, DTC, BNP NEO Link and UBS KeyLink would be advantageous.Personal Attributes
