TD Securities is looking for an Senior Operations Analyst to join their Margin and Collateral team based in Lake Mary, Florida and New York, NY. The role requires someone who will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have a collaborative mindset to work as part of a team. As a member of the margin team the candidate will monitor and maintain prime brokerage and equity swap portfolios and work cooperatively with all Operations teams to ensure efficiency across teams.

Responsibilities Include

Work independently and cooperatively with other members of the Margin team to ensure House Risk, Portfolio Margin and Regulation T margin calculations are met in a timely fashion.Develop relationships with all members of Operations and Prime Broker Client Services to ensure partnership and efficient operation and coordination.Facilitate and approve client asset transfers in and out of the firm using proprietary firm systems.Escalate violations and unresolved margin deficiencies to Margin Management, and risk partners.Work with Credit and Risk teams to implement the firm Margin policy, provide metrics and trend analysis on Prime brokerage and equity swap client portfolios.Opportunities to work on projects involving process improvements and other strategic initiatives.Strong knowledge of FINRA Rule 4210, Regulation T, SEA 15c3-3 and Swaps Regulations required.Experience with Arranged Financing, Broadridge and Softek Margin System preferred.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

BS/BA degree and/or 7+ years of relevant work experience.Proficient in Office 365 suite including Excel and OutlookAbility to identify, escalate, and resolve problems/issues.Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills.Demonstrates efficient time management skills and critical thinking.Demonstrates organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Proactive and self-starter who is goal oriented.

The Operations Analyst/Specialist II TDS coordinates and executes projects primarily focused on the continuous improvement of Operations and/or the attainment of organizational objectives. The Operations Analyst/Specialist II TDS assists Operations management in identifying opportunities for process improvements, analyzes options (including software, workflow changes, training needs, and procedure modification), and presents recommendations and implements change.

Depth & Scope:

Performs more complex operational analysis within the Loss Analytics departmentWorks independently and works with the Management team in making decisions on policy and procedure changesDevelops recommendation and coordinates the implementation of new proceduresDisseminates analyzed findings and makes recommendations to Management pertaining to system configurations and/or process changesManages through to completion on assigned projects including identifying project requirements, gathering information, developing an approach, executing the project and ensuring communication occurs across functional areasProjects could involve standardization, conversion, productivity, service quality or other strategic issues or documentation related to these areasLeads capacity analysis for Fraud software to determine appropriate staffing levelsCollects and analyzes pertinent information and data pertaining to fraud committed against TD BankConducts detailed statistical analysis involving fraud loss and check card data and correlate to Fraud Management applications/processes to determine department effectivenessCompletes ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from Management including data collectionConsidered a subject matter expert for Operations processes and acts as a resource for resolving technical or operational issuesConducts capacity analysis for Fraud software to determine appropriate staffing levelsIdentifies opportunities and presents solutions for process improvements, including streamlining functions, resolving processing problems and improving service qualityDevelops solutions in conjunction with work teams and management and then coordinates implementation


Experience:

Bachelor's degree, or specialized training / equivalent work experience5+ years related experienceSuccessful project management skills and ability to work independentlyProven ability to relate technical solutions to operational issuesProven verbal and written communication skillsExcellent in operating computer applications with specific focus on data retrieval and research including CMODSolid understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologyProficient in Monarch, Access and Excel, proven knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
