Our client, a leader in higher education operations, is seeking an Operations Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Operations Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the Office of Operations supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Operations Administrative Assistant-Higher Education
**Location:** New York, New York
**Pay Range:** $30-$37 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Respond to inquiries for the Office of Operations displaying comprehensive knowledge of the department's activities, policies, and programs.
+ Interact with the general public and University personnel to resolve issues and problems effectively.
+ Prioritize office activities and delegate work to student and/or casual employees.
+ Customize and compose letters and documents as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
+ Monitor complex department budgets and grants while maintaining confidential records and files.
**What's Needed?**
+ 3+ years of office experience with a strong focus on customer service.
+ Proficiency in intermediate to advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
+ Excellent proofreading and writing skills.
+ Ability to modify and create complex spreadsheets and databases.
+ A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or an Associate's Degree with relevant experience.
