Operational Accounting Assistant

About this role:

In this role, you will:

Perform a variety of activities related to reconciling and balancing accountsResearch and resolve moderately complex accounting issues and exceptionsResolve disputes for customers, clients and vendors, related to balancing situationsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Schedule:

Flexible schedule Monday-Friday, you personally scheduled your 40-hour work week.Start time from 6:00am-8:00am MST working an 8-hour shift, with a 30 minute to an hour lunch.Opportunities for Overtime

Training:

You will receive in-depth on-the-job training, and coaching to learn about Wells Fargo banking products, procedures, and services.Training will be for 12 weeks. You are required to attend the full duration of this paid 12 weeks of training.We’re open from Monday - Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm (MST). Your regular work schedule will be based on business needs.Training is 100% on site.

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Payment Processing experienceSystem knowledge of CSTAR, Operations Image Browser, Common Recon, Hogan, RE15Banking or financial operations experienceAccounting experienceAbility to achieve high production and quality standardsAbility to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environmentIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsAbility to research and correspond with customers, responding to their questions and concerns with detailed informationAbility to read and process checksEffective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to follow policies, procedures, and regulations


Job Expectations:

This position will be a Hybrid, you’ll work every other week on site at: 1305 West 23rd St 2nd Floor, TEMPE, AZ 85282.
