Operation Lead, Blink Supply Chain & Operations
Description An Operation Lead directs a small group responsible for all shipping requests for the building. These requests include returns going to Canada/Mexico, PO Box locations, and requests from engineers. Also, the operations lead works closely with compliance to ensure that all international shipments have the necessary paperwork, is properly labeled prior to shipping, and ships within Compliance’s service level agreements. Lastly, the operations lead is also responsible for managing the inventory. Effective and timely communication is critical to deliver for our customers. Key job responsibilities - Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and count product. - Provide peer-to-peer feedback on processes and standards, serving as the escalation point to assist associate peers in solving customer issues, where appropriate. - Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience and operations by participating in the development of best practices. - Help identify and communicate barriers and trends that contribute to the customer and associate experience and support the manager in building a strong site culture. - Work with a manager to maintain the physical safety and quality standards of the site. - Work in a fast changing and ambiguous environment. - Perform additional duties, as assigned - Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. The base pay for this position ranges from $43,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $88,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
