Various (United States of America)Job Summary:\rThe ORA is responsible for cleaning and terminal cleaning of the OR, PACU, and other assigned locations. This position is an integral part to support the model of care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing surgical procedures. The ORA is expected to assist with the daily operational flow to aide and assist the OR team in the delivery of patient care and efficiency of the unit. Functions under the supervision of the ORA Supervisor and OR leadership.\rCore Responsibilities and Essential Functions:\rPerforms general and terminal cleaning in the OR and other assigned areas daily, between procedures, and when required due to protocols of organization and IC. Maintains a clean and orderly environment in the OR.\rAssists with OR procedures by gathering appropriate equipment and positioning devices required. Responsible for reporting equipment and positioning devices that are in need of repair.\rOrders and stocks OR suites and general areas with linens and supplies. Restocks various specialty carts as assigned, if trained.\rTransports carts, instruments, supplies and equipment to various departments as assigned. Transports blood/blood products, specimens, and patients as directed.\rAdheres to attendance policy and OR attire policy. Maintains annual training requirements. Accepts direction. Follows written and verbal instructions promptly and accurately.\rPerforms other duties as assigned\rComplies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.\rRequired Minimum Education:High School Diploma General or GED General\r\rRequired Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):\rAll certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.\rAdditional License(s) and Certification(s):\rRequired Minimum Experience:\rMinimum 1 year experience in environmental services Preferred\rRequired Minimum Skills:\rMust be able to read and write to comprehend written and oral instructions\rAbility to work independently\rInterpersonal skills\rMust have ability to operate standard cleaning devices within safety compliance guidelines\rKnowledge of aseptic technique and universal precautionsJoin us and discover the support to do more meaningful workâand enjoy a more rewarding life.
